                                  Family Activities in Bangkok

Bangkok sure has its rough edges for being known as a major red light district. But where ever there is a dark side there will also be a light side as well. And through some easy and careful navigation it is very easy to avoid the nefarious activities of the night that you just feel your kids are too young to see.

With that said there are many fun and educational experiences for families vacationing in Bangkok. And for those with younger kids you'll notice that Thais love to dote on children so you'll find hotel staff playing with them often or a passenger on a train smiling at them and offering them their seat.

                                  Bangkok Dusit Zoo

                                  Picture
There are truly many things to do inside Bangkok's major malls such as Siam Paragon and Central World. Every weekend there is usually an exhibition geared towards children's interest. Some are permanent like ice skating rinks and bowling alleys.

How about a movie? Bangkok's theater's are complete with the latest box office hits. Western movies are shown in English language. And if you're worried about the price of a ticket, relax. An adult ticket is around $8 USD. And concession stand snacks are very affordable too.
